“LOCAL HISTORY” read aloud by Tom at the Hoopeston Library

Hoopeston Public Library is pleased to present Tom Sweeney, “Illinois Arts Educator of the Year” and winner of the National Federation for “Outstanding Educator in Speech, Debate and Theatre Arts,” reading selections from books chronicling local history.  On selected Sundays during the next three months, enjoy these free programs open to the public.  Tom’s first presentation on Sunday, September 13, will feature excerpts from “Historical Sketches of the Wabash Valley.”  Join Tom on September 13, 20, and 27 from 2:30 until 4:00.  Participants will enjoy refreshments.
